A receiver is a separate role than that is of a realtor. It is a person that is appointed by the court to have the power to manage control and sell the real property with the court's approval. It isn’t a frequent solution, but at times it is needed. It requires negotiation, skills, problem-solving, market knowledge, and the ability to handle all the pleadings, filings and reports that the court require.
The duties of the receiver are different and separate from the role as a real estate agent. The Elite Receivership Group, LLC handles these activities and certain fees will apply. These include reimbursable court expenses, communications between the parties or attorney that’s outside the normal Real Estate transaction, drafting the motions in orders, follow up correspondence, conducting an inventory of the items, executing closing documents, visiting the real estate for exchange of personal items, and the expenses for standard receivership fees.
